2. Take a look around you in this world of today;
And all you hear is "war and hate"; that's all you hear them say.
The world is full of troubles; we all know that's true.
People today just don't know what to do.
3. There are not many people that I know of that are nice.
The nicest person that I know is Jesus, Jesus Christ.
Whenever you're in trouble, just bow your head and pray.
You'll know for sure He'll hear you, and brighten up your day.
4. He lived and died for all mankind to save us from our sins.
Believe in Him, and you'll find He'll cleanse the sin within.
When lifes troubles come, just look upwards and pray:
''Jesus, Friend, and Saviour; give me strength to find a way''.
5. Jesus has given me help in many a time of need.
He helps me to think cleanly, and do many glorious deeds.
The world is full of troubles now, but coming very soon;
The day the Devil, and his friends, shall meet their certain doom.
6. And when that grand thing happens, everyone shall know the score;
The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost shall reign forevermore!!
And all the people everywhere shall sing in one accord
''Let's all sing Hallelujah!! Let's sing, and Praise the Lord!!''
7. I believe in Jesus Christ, my Saviour, and my Friend.
And pray that He will be with me until the very end.
For now, I've found the magic, from ''My Friend For Life'';
My Saviour, Lord, Redeemer, Friend, Jesus Christ!!
