2) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
At either venue, you will wish, the charges list is short.
While most will avoid the first, the second one is set.
And evidence is gathered there, though you are not dead, yet.
3) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
The stopping of the processes, you cannot there, thwart.
Confession or denial there, of preported crime.
If you're guilty here on Earth, you will do the time.
4) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
You will wish that both of these, you could there, abort.
It's appointed all to die, then judgment awaits.
Your eternal destiny, it will be your fate.
5) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Whenever you break the law, you have fallen short.
You may do what's right in your eyes, but there are rules in place.
When you're charged, you'll be ashamed, and want to hide your face.
6) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Whether you did it in defense, or did it there, as sport.
Moral laws exist today, for order, decency.
Yet many folks think that ''these laws, they don't apply to me''.
7) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
With events of the crime, authorities will sort,
Through details of event, to assess your guilt.
Whether it was minor there, or if blood was spilt.
8) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Confession of your guilt therein, is a last resort.
But, everyone's accountable, for every deed they've done.
Whether done in dark of night, or at midday sun.
9) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
We'll start with Miranda first, in the earthly court.
Each defendant has these rights before interrogation.
By law enforcement officials, seeking explanation.
10) Miranda verus Maranatha, with your day in court.
You have the right to remain silent, with police report.
If that right is given up, every word you say,
Will be used against you there, judgment comes your way.
11) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
You have the right to have a lawyer, before time in court.
He'll be present during questions, and be at your side.
If you can't afford a lawyer, one, they will provide.
12) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Many rules are followed there, in enforcement tort.
Beyond a reasonable doubt, your guilt, they must prove.
The weight of justice scales there; how will they, there move??
13) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Who you keep as company, with those you do consort.
Determines whether you will be, in a court on Earth.
To answer for the charges there, that could affect your worth.
14) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Now, we'll switch to second one, no one can abort.
It's appointed all to die, then judgment does await.
This judgment recaps your life, sets your eternal fate.
15) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
There's no question of your guilt, in your life's report.
Your life reviewed with motives, deeds, words, and all your thoughts.
On Judgment Day, you will receive, what you on Earth, have wrought.
16) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
God's Standard is perfection there, and everyone falls short.
Just one sin, in any way, is like bread rising leaven.
It is like a cancer there, to keep you out of Heaven.
17) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
You will answer for yourself, without your cohorts.
The key is who you had for your defense attorney.
For you, it determines where, you spend eternity.
18) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Those who repented, and believe, The Divine Report;
For the saved, they will all stand, at Bema Judgment Seat.
Sin not considered, for that judgment, it is now complete.
19) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Every day in Heaven, Satan says with his report;
Accusing you of every sin, and although it is your guilt.
It's washed away, when cleansed by Blood, that Christ there, had spilt.
20) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
With faith in Christ, your every sin, cleared from your report.
In God's Courtroom, Christ is Your Defense Attorney.
Satan sees that he's lost again, and he has to flee.
21) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Those works you there for yourself, truly will fall short.
You listened to your sin nature, fulfilled its desire.
This wood, hay, and stubble, is, consumed by God's Fire.
22) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Works that are done for The Lord, in your life's report.
Gold, silver, precious stones, in crowns that you have earned.
When there from a life of sin, to Christ, you had turned.
23) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
In Heaven there, for the redeemed, any regret is short.
Only happiness exists, forever there, to share.
No wickedness or jealousy, or sin will enter there.
24) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
But for unrepentant souls, bad news to report.
Defense of themselves is useless, they are without clout.
The extent of each one's guilt, truly, there's no doubt.
25) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
On Earth, when told The Gospel Truth, they did laugh and snort.
At death, these see that it's too late, for them to repent.
The one thing God requires is ''Believe On Christ, He Sent''.
26) Miranda versus Maranatha, with your day in court.
Tomorrow promised to no one, earthly life is short.
Hell or Heaven, only two, places that exist.
If you choose to reject Christ, Heaven, you'll have missed.
