If You Are You Are Your Attorney There, On The Judgment Day

If You Are You Are Your Attorney There, On The Judgment Day

Written By Daryl Stout

1) If you are your attorney there, on the Judgment Day.
You'll be terrified, as things won't go your way.
As you stand before The Lord, on His Judgment Throne.
Every sin you've ever done, will there, be made known.

2) If you are your attorney there, on the Judgment Day.
You'll see too late, that your sin's cost, you can never pay.
No guilt question, pardon, mercy, or hint of appeal.
In motive, word, thought, and deed; all your sin, revealed.

3) If you are your attorney there, on the Judgment Day.
As your life is played back, you cannot look away.
Whether done in public there, or out of viewing sight.
No matter when you did it there, during day or night.

4) If you are your attorney there, on the Judgment Day.
No one there to plead your case, or in words you say.
In terror and in horror there, you stand before The Lord.
You see His Word sharper than a two edged sword.

5) If you are your attorney there, on the Judgment Day.
No one else there, that you can, all your sin, there lay.
When you stand before The Lord, at The Great White Throne.
Your whole life, birth to death; you're naked and alone.

6) If you are your attorney there, on the Judgment Day.
The Grace of God is over now, and it's too late to pray.
Instead of bowing eagerly, you are now compelled.
To bow before The Lord, and know, that you are bound for Hell.

7) If you are your attorney there, on the Judgment Day.
This outcome, it does not have, for you, to be this way.
If you will repent of your sin, and on Christ, believe.
He is your attorney now, when you, His Gift, receive.

8) If you are your attorney there, on the Judgment Day.
You won't have to worry if, Christ, your sins, did pay.
Christ now, is your attorney, there in your defense.
Heaven's Joy, and not Hell Fire, will be your sentence.
