For Me, To Live Is Christ, To Die Is Gain

''For Me, To Live Is Christ, To Die Is Gain''

Based On Phillipians 1:21

Written By Daryl Stout

1) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
No matter what the world may think of me.
On the Cross, Christ bore my sin and shame.
To save my soul for all eternity.

2) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
The day His Holy Spirit pricked my heart.
To spiritually be free from sins dread stain.
And, to me, He'd give a brand new start.

3) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
While in this body, full of sin and strife.
The Precious Gospel message, there so plain.
Accepting it, I gained Eternal Life.

4) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
While this seems absurd to all the lost.
At Rapture, I will board the Glory Train.
Praising Christ, who paid my sins huge cost.

5) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
A resurrection body waits for me.
This sinful flesh, corruptible, with pain,
Is cleansed, immortal, when The Lord, I see.

6) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
No matter what lifes circumstances bring.
While this sinful flesh, it does complain;
When I see The Lord, His Praise I'll sing.

7) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
Precious in His Sight is His Saints deaths.
At that point, the end of earthly pain.
They're with The Lord there, upon their last breath.

8) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
Though persecuted here by sinful souls.
A robe and crown there, one day, I will gain.
Reserved for me, when I gave Christ control.

9) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
I praise Him for the gift of all these poems.
I say this with all truth, and I don't feign.
I know one day Heaven will be my home.

10) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
Looking to the day, before Christ's Throne.
For only through Christ, Heaven I attain.
So thankful that I am one of His Own.

11) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
Just like all the saved who've gone before.
For through eternity, the praise maintained.
The Trinity will reign forevermore.

12) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
Oh, what joy before me, there awaits.
How much clearer, friend, can I explain??
For at your death one day, it is too late.

13) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
I long to see Him, that is my desire.
When I repented, and called on Christ's Name...
He rescued me there from The Lake Of Fire.

14) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
For those who think I'm wrong, let me say this.
To reject The Lord, friend...it's insane.
And, if you do...then Heaven, you will miss.

15) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
What Christ did, you may not comprehend.
Come to Jesus, let Him cleanse sins stain.
Eternally, He wants to be Your Friend.

16) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
I pray that this will be your wish as well.
Heaven's beauty, just like refreshing rain,
Instead of pain, and fiery torment in Hell.

17) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
Your decision, friend...please make today.
Come in faith, and call on Jesus' Name.
The King Of Kings, The Truth, The Life, The Way.

18) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
One day, all will bow before His Throne.
To those rejecting Him, they'll feel the pain;
Cast away as one He's never known.

19) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
Refusing Christ as your eternal choice,
Then, His Death for you will be in vain.
Eternal doom, if you reject His Voice.

20) For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
While God won't force you to decide for Him.
If nothing's done, at death, eternal pain;
Because you made the choice to die in sin.
