Humbled And In Awe

''Humbled And In Awe''

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Humbled and in awe each time, before The Lord, I stand.
Grateful for the Blood shed there, from His Nail Pierced Hands.
That while I was still in sin, my life that I controlled,
On Calvary's Cross, He died for me, to save my life and soul.

2) Humbled and in awe each time, as I see The Cross.
Christ took upon Himself all sin, paying its huge cost.
The precious, spotless, Lamb Of God, King and Lord of all.
Welcomed me with open arms, when to Him, I called.

3) Humbled and in awe each time, when to The Lord, I pray.
Starting with The Sinners Prayer, on that special day.
When I asked forgiveness for all of my sinful deeds.
Amazing Grace was granted there, on Christ's Name, I'd plead.

4) Humbled and in awe each time, in sorrow, I confess.
The sin nature, still with me, my life at times, a mess.
As far as east is from the west, my sins are washed away.
For Christ paid my huge sin debt, that I could never pay.

5) Humbled and in awe each time, I think upon His Love.
Before foundation of the world, from His Throne Above.
If it was only just for me, Christ still would have there, died.
And rose again on the third day, with the victory cry.

6) Humbled and in awe each time, on Earth or Heaven's sky.
When I see Him, I'll want hug, a handshake, and a cry.
Casting my crown at His Feet, my voice, forever, raised.
That Jesus Christ, My Saviour, Lord, is Worthy Of All Praise.

7) Humbled and in awe each time, for blessings He has given.
I'm a sinner, saved by grace, through Christ, I'm forgiven.
The words are so inadequate, to just say ''thanks'' to Christ.
Eternally I'm grateful that He paid my huge sin price.

8) Humbled and in awe each time, you too, will feel this way.
When God's Spirit pricks your heart, with Words He does say.
Repent of sin, make Christ your Lord; for after death, too late.
Reject Christ, and The Lake Of Fire, is your eternal fate.
