2.The Day The Spirit Of The Lord Came And Pricked My Heart;
The hymn ''The Old Rugged Cross'' was where the change would start.
I heard of Him who loved me so much He bled and died;
And rose again to save my soul; tears came...I nearly cried.
3.The Day The Spirit Of The Lord Came And Pricked My Heart;
Convicted me of all my sin that tore my life apart.
So, one night there...with bowed head, I accepted God's Love Gift.
And, asked Jesus to save my soul; a burden from me did lift.
4.The Day The Spirit Of The Lord Came And Pricked My Heart;
My Spiritual Life since then has been like a waving chart.
Both mountain tops, and valleys low...are in each days place.
Humbly knowing that I'm just a Sinner Saved By Grace.
5.The Day The Spirit Of The Lord Came And Pricked My Heart;
I'll praise that day in Heaven, as I sing ''How Great Thou Art''.
With all the Saints in Glory there, the song to Him I'll raise;
''Worthy The Lamb That Was Slain''...Worthy Of The Praise.
6.The Day The Spirit Of The Lord Came And Pricked My Heart;
These songs He gave me are a witness of His Gift He did impart.
And now, dear friend...I ask you...have you had a day like this??
Decide today...eternally...your choice...doom or bliss??
7.The Day The Spirit Of The Lord Came And Pricked My Heart;
You too, can have a day like this...avoiding Satan's darts.
Believe that Jesus lived, and died, and rose again for you.
Accept Him now, and reign with Him...there in glory true.
