The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, And Not Upon A Curve

''The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, And Not Upon A Curve''

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Many think on Judgment Day, God will cut them slack.
But, these do not realize, to God, they turned their back.
The Grace Of God, it's a Free Gift; to all, undeserved.
The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, and Not Upon A Curve.

2) They think their good deeds will outweigh the evil they have done.
But, unless they repent of sin, accepting Christ, God's Son.
Eternal doom they can't avoid, or out of its way, swerve.
The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, and Not Upon A Curve.

3) God's Standard is Perfection there, and not one soul can pay;
Except for Christ, The King Of Kings, The Truth, The Life, The Way.
This Truth, it offends the lost, and their prideful nerve.
The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, and Not Upon A Curve.

4) Our righteousness as filthy rags, as menstrual cloths of blood.
All are sinners, dirtier; than pigs there in mud.
Without Christ, eternal doom, is what all deserve.
The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, and Not Upon A Curve.

5) The heart is full of sin, deceit...extent can't be known.
The Lord, He sees everything, open and unknown.
In this life, is it Satan, or The Lord, you serve??
The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, and Not Upon A Curve.

6) Sadly, not all will repent...preferring sins desires.
They won't trust in Jesus Christ; the one thing God requires.
To those refusing The Lord's Grace, their pride is unnerved.
The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, and Not Upon A Curve.

7) One day, all will bow before The Lord, there on bended knee.
What you do with Jesus Christ, sets your eternity.
At The Judgment, all will get, what they do deserve.
The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, and Not Upon A Curve.

8) Hell or Heaven, which of these, is your eternal place??
Will you now repent of sin, and seek The Lord's Face??
God's Sprit, pricks your heart...it does strike a nerve.
The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, and Not Upon A Curve.

9) I pray that you will not fall for The Doom Of Satan's Lie.
Eternal joy, or torment there, will be yours when you die.
Christ or Satan...choose this day, who you will now, serve.
The Lord, He Grades Upon The Cross, and Not Upon A Curve.
