God Gave Them Over

''God Gave Them Over''

Based On Romans 1:28-32

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Whether for an individual, or for a nation, there.
There comes a point of no return, when judgment won't be spared.
The nations, or its people choose, to spiritually, be blind.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

2) The knowledge of God, in their lives, they would not retain.
They considered rules God made, a burden and a strain.
Shunning good for evil there; its many ways, they'd find.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

3) Doing deeds of grievious sins, that should not be done.
They spurn the grace offered free, salvation through God's Son.
Angry toward The Lord Of Hosts, these are so unkind.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

4) Unrighteous, wicked, fornicators, malicious souls are these.
Coveting, murdering, envy, deceit; sinning as they please.
''Live For Yourself And No One Else''; in ego, they've opined.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

5) Whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, boastful, and so proud.
Prefer the path of evil there, it's done by all the crowd.
Disobeying parents, too; deceitful, and maligned.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

6) Without natural affection there, inventing evil things.
Laughing off God's Warnings there, the Judgment He will bring.
Against The Lord and all His Saints, they have an axe to grind.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

7) These know God's Judgment does decree, that those who do these things;
Deserve to die; and yet, these still, encourage what sin brings.
The Days Of Noah And Lot are here...no change to mankind.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

8) The wrath of God, revealed there, to all upon the Earth.
To all unrepentant souls, who won't accept New Birth.
Shown through all creation, by The Lord's Design.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

9) Their foolish hearts were darkened there, imagined all things, vain.
Changed God's Truth into a lie; to His Rules, complained.
Worshipped creature over Him, evil thoughts refined.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

10) These finally get what they did want, not knowing wrong from right.
Serving Satan and his demons, in both day and night.
Ignoring God and to all His Rules, to sin, they're so inclined.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

11) Thinking they're enlightened there; and in their minds, they're wise.
But to God, all these are fools; in His Righteous Eyes.
At the moment of their death, too late, the Truth, they find.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

12) On Judgment Day, without excuse, all these souls, see now.
Too late for salvation there; though before Christ, these bow.
Tormented for eternity...forever pain, reminds.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

13) For individuals or nations, when this point is reached.
That they chose to go their way, ignore the Gospel preached.
But, pain, despair, upon their death; all of these will find.
God gave them over, to their desires, and to a reprobate mind.

14) For The Lord, He Made The Rules, On His Creation Day.
Jesus Christ, God's Only Son, The Truth, The Life, The Way.
For He came to give New Birth, sight to souls, there blind.
Accepting Christ, and His Desires, and not to reprobate mind.

15) Virgin Born, He came to Earth, He died upon the Cross.
Rose from the dead the Third Day, To rescue all the lost.
At the moment of your death, eternal path, now signed.
Either Heaven full of Joy, or Hell of reprobate mind.

16) So, the choice is yours to make; to serve sin, or serve Christ.
He paid the debt for all your sin, an astronomical price.
For at your death, it is too late; the Judgment you will find.
God gave you over, to your desires, and to a reprobate mind.
