2) My prayer for forgiveness, from deeds of sin.
That I have committed without and within.
Still in corruptible flesh of this life.
Plagues every day with sins and with strife.
3) My prayer for forgiveness, as David did pray.
After he sinned against you on that day.
And even when Peter, that You denied,
Repentant and broken, both were inside.
4) My prayer for forgiveness, to God, there above.
Have mercy on me, based on your love.
Wash me from all, transgressions I do.
Interrupts fellowship between me and You.
5) My prayer for forgiveness, Christ's Blood, do I plead.
My sins before me; Your Grace, I do need.
Against you I have, sinned in your sight.
Confessing I failed, to do what is right.
6) My prayer for forgiveness, in iniquity, shaped.
The sin nature of life, I can't escape.
A heart of contrition, Lord, you won't despise.
For you can't behold sin with Your Eyes.
7) My prayer for forgiveness, I want to be clean.
Purge me with hyssop, from sins deeds, so mean.
Wash me so I can become whiter than snow.
For all of being, Lord, you there, do know.
8) My prayer for forgiveness, create a clean heart.
As each day of life, I need a new start.
I pray you won't take your spirit away,
You paid the sin debt that I could not pay.
9) My prayer for forgiveness, to you, I do praise.
In worship, to you, my hands, I do raise.
For all glory and honor, is yours, Lord, alone.
For your shed blood, my sins, there atoned.
10) My prayer for forgiveness, as when I bowed first.
You took me in love, while there at my worst.
In witness to others, that they may be saved.
You lived and died, and rose from the grave.
11) My prayer for forgiveness, just to Thank You,
For all that you've done, the least I can do.
Inadequate words, the thanks I do speak.
Without You, I know, that I'm truly weak.
12) My prayer for forgiveness, apologize there.
I need to spend time in your Word, and in prayer.
I confess that I haven't done as I should,
I need strength from you, Lord, to do good.
13) My prayer for forgiveness, you died in my place.
Showing Love, and Amazing Grace.
I long for the day, when faith shall be sight.
To never again fear, of not doing right.
14) My prayer for forgiveness, Lord, hide Your Face.
From all of my sins, that insult Your Grace.
A license to serve, the least I can do.
For You are My Saviour, My Lord, Oh, So True.
15) My prayer for forgiveness, to You, Lord, I cry.
Coming to Rapture Your Own in the sky.
For your appearing, I long for each day.
You are The Truth, The Life, and The Way.
16) My prayer for forgiveness, I pray you'll accept.
Before you I bow, I've grieved, and I've wept.
I'd like a hug, a handshake, and cry.
You accepted someone as worthless as I.
17) My prayer for forgiveness, I pray the lost will,
Hear your small voice, so loving, and still.
Repent of their sin, and call on Your Name.
For You Lord, took all our sin and our blame.
18) My prayer for forgiveness, I pray folks won't wait.
For after one dies, repentance too late.
For these will regret, they took sins desire;
Spending forever, in Lake Of Fire.
