Man Thinks This Life's All There Is; As God's Words, They Spurn

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Man thinks this life's all there is, as God's Words, they spurn.
They feel that there's no Judgment, Heaven, or Hell, there to burn.
You only have one life to live, it all ends at death.
But, they will be horrified, when taking their last breath.

2) Man thinks this life's all there is, as God's Words, they spurn.
They feel God's Words are a lie, but they've so much to learn.
Before foundation of the Earth, Redemption's Plan in place.
To save man from eternal Hell, with God's Amazing Grace.

3) Man thinks this life's all there is, as God's Words, they spurn.
They feel there's no need to repent, away from sin, to turn.
They'll feel Heaven's owed to them, no matter what they've done.
Even if they've trampled on, The Blood of God's Dear Son.

4) Man thinks this life's all there is, as God's Words, they spurn.
They haven't come to Christ, so they are spiritually undiscerned.
The things of God from His Word, they can't comprehend.
But in the Lake Of Fire there, the torment never ends.

5) Man thinks this life's all there is, as God's Words, they spurn.
Like Saducees of Jesus' day, they all are unconcerned.
They feel soul sleep is for all, forever one will rest.
But, in dying without Christ; they're cursed, and not blessed.

6) Man thinks this life's all there is, as God's Words, they spurn.
Like a bridge there built with sand, now a crumbling bern.
Upon taking their last breath, horror in their eyes.
Hell fire they did not expect, from all of Satan's lies.

7) Man thinks this life's all there is, as God's Words, they spurn.
With sin, never satisified; toward God, these never yearn.
It's appointed all to die, then judgment comes for all.
Hell is yours, for if on Christ, you did never call.

8) Man thinks this life's all there is, as God's Words, they spurn.
The path to eternity, to which road will you turn??
Wide the gate, broad the way, to destruction, leads.
Narrow gate, straight the way, when Christ, you receive.

9) Man thinks this life's all there is, as God's Words, they spurn.
Those in Hell, see their mistake, the Truth they heard, now learn.
All will live forever, friend; the question, though, is where??
Without Christ as Savior, Lord; you won't be prepared.

10) Man thinks this life's all there is, as God's Words, they spurn.
You'll stand before The Lord one day; from Him, you can't turn.
What will you do with Jesus Christ, The Truth, The Life, The Way.
Tomorrow promised to no one; and you could die today.
