That's The Bottom Line

That's The Bottom Line

Written By Daryl Stout

1) From standpoint of eternity, one thing matters most.
It's not living a good life, of things that you can boast.
You'll think you are a noble person, that everything is fine.
But, did you repent, accept The Lord?? That's The Bottom Line.

2) ''Believe On The One He Has Sent'', the one thing God requires.
Jesus Christ, the only one, can save you from Hell Fire.
For the saved are only branches, Christ is The True Vine.
Without Christ, you have no hope; That's The Bottom Line.

3) No other name under Heaven given, whereby we must be saved.
Believe on Christ, who lived and died, and rose up from the grave.
Salvation's Plan before Creation, that was by design.
Christ would give His Life for all; That's The Bottom Line.

4) We're saved by grace through faith, not works; lest anyone should boast.
The decision to reject The Lord, is one you'll regret most.
Our righteousness as filthy rigs, worse than a hazmat sign.
God's Standard Is Perfection there; That's The Bottom Line.

5) All have sinned and fallen short, of God's Glory there.
Without Christ, on Judgment Day, God's Wrath won't be spared.
There's none righteous here on Earth, sin is your decline.
You're doomed if you refuse The Lord; That's The Bottom Line.

6) Salvation's Plan so easy there, in it's simplicity.
Rejecting this will damn your soul, for all eternity.
Your pride does you no good in Hell, like stepping on a mine.
Tomorrow promised to no one; That's The Bottom Line.

7) God's Creation And His Rules, He has the final say.
King Of Kings, Lord Of Lords, The Truth, The Life, The Way.
Only one life here on Earth; not as a cat, lives nine.
Eternity is a long time; That's The Bottom Line.

8) Like stinging salt in open wound, it's painful agony.
Far worse the heat there of Hell Fire, for all eternity.
No cooling to relieve the pain, on how much you opine.
After death, it is too late; That's The Bottom Line.

9) Eagerly or there compelled, all will, on bended knee.
Bow before Christ on His Throne, in His Authority.
Christ or Satan, you can't straddle your life on that line.
The eternal choice is yours; That's The Bottom Line.

10) Everyone on Earth today, has free will and choice.
To accept, or there reject, Christ's Love, Will, and Voice.
Christ's knocking there at your heart's door; He wants to come and dine.
Will you welcome The Lord In?? That's The Bottom Line.

11) All creation groans, travails, from sin's awful curse.
Before The Lord returns to Earth, things will get much worse.
After rapture, tribulation; there of the worst kind.
For The Lord is in control; That's The Bottom Line.

12) The Lord will return for His Church, to rapture His Bride, there.
The redeemed can't comprehend, the beauty God prepared.
The Joy of Heaven for the saved, so glorious and fine.
With Christ there forevermore; That's The Bottom Line.

13) If anyone there is in Christ, they are a creature, new.
In answer to the question, ''Lord, what will you have me do??''.
Be filled with the Spirit there, and not drunk with wine.
Don't be filled with life of sin; That's The Bottom Line.

14) If we repent, confess our sin, there to Christ alone.
His Precious Blood that He did shed, for our sins to atone.
We know that sin's blame is on us, the guilt is yours and mine.
His Blood will wash our sin away; That's The Bottom Line.

15) So many things in this poem, as the title, shown.
Repent of sin, accept Christ now; Heaven, eternal home.
No matter race, or wealth, or fame; don't let sin rob you blind.
What will you do with Jesus Christ?? That's The Bottom Line.
