No Matter What You May Believe, Life Is Not A Game

Written By Daryl Stout

1) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
Not like the board game long ago, amusement was its name.
Simulating what you might, see there in your life.
Whether single, or you marry, become man and wife.

2) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
The gamut of experience, all things to proclaim.
From your birth until your death, decisions you must make.
Are you sincere in what you do?? Or living life of fake??

3) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
On choices you must make for fortune or for fame.
Or on choices you must make, each and every day.
But, one choice, is more important, than words you will say.

4) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
When doing poor, rewards gone, you're encased in shame.
But, where you store your treasure there, it is your reward.
On Earth or in Heaven, there...these can't be ignored.

5) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
All the accolades of praise, that you, in life, claim.
They'll mean nothing before Christ, there on Judgment Day.
The question is, for your sin...who will it, there pay??

6) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
You realize when errors, done...that you're the one to blame.
For there where your treasure is, there resides your heart.
Even after your death there; you soul, from you, won't part.

7) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
Those repenting of their sin, and call on Jesus' Name.
Serving Christ, these grateful souls, for what Christ has done.
Who lived, died, and rose again; God's Precious, Only Son.

8) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
The Devil like lion there...angry and not tame.
Looking for the unaware, who he can devour.
To destroy one's life and witness, in each day and hour.

9) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
God's Creation, and Rules; though you feel, they're lame.
The rules made for our own good, not to do us harm.
Or everything comes crashing down; you just bought the farm.

10) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
When you've truly met The Lord, your life is not the same.
What you do with Christ determines your eternity.
One day, all bow before Christ, there on bended knee.

11) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
The Gospel Of God's Free Love Gift, to all, He proclaims.
For everyone who comes to Christ, He will not turn away.
He knows whether you're sincere, when to Him, you pray.

12) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
Sin is like a cancer there; it your soul, will maim.
Only Precious Blood Of Christ, will wash your sins away.
God's Standard Is Perfection There; Christ, The Only Way.

13) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
Hell is not a party place, but full of torment, flame.
Heaven is not owed to you, entrance, you can't earn.
Those there who reject The Lord; forever, they will burn.

14) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
Like target practice, or in darts; the bullseye, you do aim.
Do you press on for the mark, striving for the prize??
Or do you hearken to your sin, and its deceitful lies??

15) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
To redeem mankind from sin, Christ, from Heaven, came.
Lived His Life, then crucified, on that rugged Cross.
And, rose again on the third day, to redeem the lost.

16) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
''Thank You, Lord, You died for me'', redeemed souls exclaim.
But, not so, on Judgment Day, lost souls around His Throne.
He casts them to The Lake Of Fire, as one's He's never known.

17) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
Ramifications serious, you'll be the one to blame.
Christ's Death and Resurrection, for every one and nation.
How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation??

18) No matter what you may believe, life is not a game.
Will you now, repent of sin, and call on Jesus' Name??
Your decision will be honored, there before The Lord.
For His Word is sharper than any two edged sword.
