Once You're In The Flames Of Hell, You Can't Repent Or Pray

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
To seek salvation through The Lord, The Truth, The Life, The Way.
Eternal doom, and agony...tormenting pain, your fate.
In life, you could've called on Christ; but now it is too late.

2) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
Demons mock and torture you, in each and every way.
Unending screams of agony, but you will see no one.
Knowing what a fool you were, to reject God's Son.

3) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
All evil and iniquity, now on full display.
Never ending burning heat, hunger, pain, and thirst.
Since you did reject The Lord, you're not blessed, but cursed.

4) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
Going through the motions there, and in things you'd say.
But, you couldn't fool The Lord, your life of pretend.
Since you'd not believe on Christ; forever, you're condemned.

5) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
You thought your church, or your works, would keep you from this day.
The righteous saved by grace through faith, not of works to boast.
Your choice to reject The Lord; it's one you'll regret most.

6) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
You wish you had a second chance, but it is gone away.
Joined by other countless souls, in dark sulfur flame.
None there would repent of sin, and call on Jesus' Name.

7) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
Hell's not a refuge from The Lord; or party place, to play.
You would not accept The Lord; for your sins, He died.
His Precious Blood, He shed to cleanse, all your sins, inside.

8) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
Just like the stench of rotting flesh, and all of its decay.
It's what all your sins were there, reaching up to Heaven.
Your righteousness as filthy rags, full of sinful leaven.

9) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
The agony will never stop, or ever be delayed.
You will stand before The Lord, naked and alone.
You wouldn't let the Blood Of Christ, for your sins, atone.

10) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
Christ will be your worst nightmare, there on Judgment Day.
Your life, you'll account for there; with God, you cannot fudge.
Christ won't be your Saviour now; instead, He'll be your Judge.

11) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
Every motive, thought, and deed, and sinful word, you'd say.
No question of guilt on your part; no pardon or appeal.
In the open, or there hid, all your sins, revealed.

12) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
Christ wanted you, to Him, say ''Yes''; but your pride said ''Nay''.
The Lord, He has no pleasure that, in your sins, you died.
Since you would not accept His Gift, Heaven is denied.

13) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
You thought that you could put it off; so you said ''Not Today''.
You preferred a life of sin, and all of Satan's lies.
At your death, there was then, the horror in your eyes.

14) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
You'll know that you're the one to blame; nothing else to say.
Though you heard the Gospel Truth, you chose to it, there spurn.
You know in Hell, then Lake Of Fire, you will forever burn.

15) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
You'll realize that you cannot, your huge sin debt there, pay.
The Gospel Truth was, and is there, for every soul and nation.
No escape, as you'd neglect, there so great, salvation.

16) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
You believed the lie that ''Into Heaven, Many Ways''.
Yet, Jesus Christ said ''I'm The Way, The Truth, The Life, you see''.
''No one can come to The Father; but, they come through Me''.

17) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
Now compelled there by God's Word, in all it did say.
You bow before Christ, then you're cast, into The Lake Of Fire.
You would not there, believe on Christ; the one thing God required.

18) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
Eternity is a long time, compared to one Earth day.
For you, Christ was spit upon, then whipped, cursed, reviled.
But, you there, refused to repent; and to become His Child.

19) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
It there, breaks the heart of Christ, in the words He'd say.
At the final judgment there, of The Great White Throne.
''Depart from me, to Lake Of Fire; for you, I've never known''.

20) Once you're in the flames of Hell, you can't repent or pray.
If you're alive and reading this, you can be saved, today!!
Repent of sin, accept The Lord; at death, it is too late.
Then, all the words there in this poem, will there, be your fate.
