A Tribute To Donna Gosser

''A Tribute To Donna Gosser'', Worship Arts Director,

Second Baptist Church, Little Rock, Arkansas, Sept. 9, 2000

Written By Daryl Stout

1) ''Sing a new song to The Lord...with skillful noise of praise''...
Instructs The Word to man in worship...with our voices raised.
The Greatest Story Ever Told...the Free Gift to all man...
To those who would receive The Saviour...part of God's Great Plan.

2) The preaching and the singing both, of that Rugged Cross...
That Jesus died and Rose again, to redeem the lost.
Whether for Traditional...or Contemporary Service there...
People need to know the Lord...and be relieved of care.

3) In service to our loving Lord, she sings with all her heart.
In leading worship...or rehearsal, as we learn our parts.
Working hard and diligent...her attitude is true...
No question of integrity...honest in what to do.

4) A loving wife and mother too...in many, many ways...
Her caring and compassion, she constantly displays...
As we sing and pray together, for each others needs...
Though many members in this choir...we're all her family.

5) And, so as we serve God together...in His Army ranks...
We pause for just a moment, Donna...to you, we say thanks.
Your joyous spirit and your service...and to you, we say...
We hope that this, will be for you, a very special day.

In Christian Love...
