Rebellion Just Like Witchcraft

Rebellion Just Like Witchcraft

Based on 1 Samuel 15:23

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Ever since sin first appeared, in Heaven's Universe.
When Lucifer, he did rebel, situation terse.
Conned one third of angels to, join him in a coup.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; quickly was in view.

2) God gave both angels and mankind, the free will to choose.
To worship and serve Him there; or that, to refuse.
The pride spotted instantly, judgment quickly fell.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; all these condemned to Hell.

3) Stubbornness as idolatry, iniquity, combined.
Rejecting The Word of The Lord, trouble they did find.
Our first parents then deceived, in Eden's Garden Place.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; both there fell from grace.

4) Fig leaves covered nudity, they thought it met the need.
But, sins price, it must be paid; an innocent one, bleed.
The curse of sin on planet Earth; sin nature, to all, came.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; these won't take the blame.

5) Cain, the first born, he would kill, his brother in a rage.
Sin had spread like wildfire, there on the world's stage.
It got so bad with mankind's sin, grieved God at His Heart.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; time for a brand new start.

6) Only Noah, he found grace, there in The Lord's eyes.
Most all the rest of mankind there; God's Words, they despised.
God commanded Noah to, build a massive Ark.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; mankind's heart's so dark.

7) For one hundred twenty years, Noah built, and preached.
Warning them of coming flood; but laughed at, was his speech.
Only Noah's family, Ark's animals, around.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; as all outside, there drowned.

8) Then on the plains of Shinar there, a tower toward the sky.
In case of another flood, none of them, would die.
The Lord God then intervened; languages, confused.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; what mankind did choose.

9) One day, God called Abram, to pack up all he owned.
To head for a Promised Land, that would there, be shown.
But Abram and Sarai got tired of waiting on The Lord.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; God's Promise, ignored.

10) So Abram slept with Hagar, there; handmaiden in their home.
But the trouble that would cause, soon would be made known.
Ishmael not the promised one, but Isaac was God's Choice.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; decreed by God's Voice.

11) Abram changed to Abraham, father of the Jews.
Sarai changed to Sarah there; her too, God would use.
Hagar, Ishmael sent away; a nation he would be.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; and Jews enemy.

12) Isaac nearly sacrificed, in a test of faith.
But, Abraham believed The Lord, and did what God saith.
Just in time, God intervened; ram offered instead.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; and Isaac wasn't dead.

13) Then Jacob born, with Esau there, a conflict would ensue.
Esau sold his birthright there, for a pot of stew.
Then twelve tribes of Israel, from next children, born.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; evil so forlorn.

14) Lot, nephew of Abraham, wanted the best land.
He headed for Sodom there, with sin on every hand.
Only three souls righteous saved, from that sin quagmire.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; the rest destroyed by fire.

15) The Israelites, four hundred years, by Pharoah, were enslaved.
God sent plagues through Moses; and, the Jews would then be saved.
Pharoah's army in pursuit, drowned in the Red Sea.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; price of iniquity.

16) Moses did go meet The Lord, there on Mount Sinai.
Giving of Commandments Ten, all Truth, not a lie.
But Jews made a golden calf, and Moses was enraged.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; all caught in sin's cage.

17) The spies sent to look upon, land of Promise, there.
Most said ''We'd all be destroyed!! Attack?? We don't dare''.
So, Jews made to wander there, time of forty years.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; filled with bitter tears.

18) Just Joshua and Caleb there, and those of younger age.
Would enter The Promised Land; the Jews sin, God, enraged.
Even Moses, by his sin, at waters of strife.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; all there through one's life.

19) Like other nations, the Jews wanted, a king of their own.
Not wanting to be ruled by God, there upon His Throne.
So God as a Gentleman, gave what was desired.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; evil was acquired.

20) More than what they bargained for, is what they received.
When they turned against The Lord; by selfishness, deceived.
Judgment fell so many times, the hard way, they would learn.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; when from God, they'd turn.

21) Though David slew Goliath there, defeated Philistines.
Adultery with Bathsheba there, then lying, murder, mean.
But, David would repent of sin, and get a brand new start.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; with sin's blackened heart.

22) Jonah told by God to go, to Ninevah, and preach.
But, Jonah, he would run from God, to be out of reach.
God sent a storm, then a huge fish, to swallow Jonah, there.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; repentance though, is rare.

23) After three days in his prison, Jonah was expelled.
Covered in seaweed, he surely, there did not look well.
''Forty days, and Ninevah, will be overthrown''.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; repentance was then, shown.

24) But through the years, Israel rebelled, against what they'd heard.
Then there for four hundred years, God didn't say a Word.
Those who truly loved The Lord, were heartbroken there.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; evil souls don't care.

25) Then, birth of John The Baptist There, to announce the news.
Arrival Of Messiah, there; to His Own, the Jews.
His Own did not receive Him there, preferred a life of sin.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; but evil would not win.

26) Christ left Heaven's Glory there, to become a man.
But, He had no sin at all; righteousness would stand.
For He came to die for all, to pay sin's huge cost.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; most would remain lost.

27) Then, on the Third Day, Christ arose, there in victory.
All those who'd believe on Christ, they would be set free.
Into Heaven, Jesus Christ, He is the Only Way.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; the lost, their sin, would pay.

28) Then, on the Day of Pentecost, The Church, it was began.
It will end at Rapture Day, there on God's Command.
No one knows the day or hour, when it will occur.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; judgment not deferred.

29) Those alive and dead in Christ, in twinkling of an eye.
At the Rapture moment there, rocket to the sky.
All those who refused The Lord, they are left behind.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; for spiritually blind.

30) For the saved at Bema Seat, rewards gained and lost.
Yet the shedding of Christ's Blood, paid all sins huge cost.
Lives reviewed before The Lord, nothing is ignored.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; all deeds answered for.

31) Some dressed like a beggar there, with bag full of holes.
Others are dressed royally, with rewards to behold.
For there where one's treasure was, their heart did reside.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; the curse of sin's pride.

32) Russians, Muslims, their desire; Israel destroyed.
But The Lord does intervene, Judgment is deployed.

Rebellion just like witchcraft; against God, you can not fight.

33) An unknown leader rises up, on world's stage, quickly.
A treaty signed for seven years, with peace and safety.
A Third Temple then rebuilt, but later defiled.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; and all sin, beguiled.

34) Seals, trumpets, bowls, of plagues, total twenty-one.
For Earth's rejection there of Christ, God's Begotten Son.
Two Witnesses, then twelve thousand, from each of the twelve tribes.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; with sin's diatribe.

35) War in Heaven, Satan's hordes, finally are banned.
Engraged, now upon The Earth, in each and every land.
To live, one must now take the Mark, in hand or on the head.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; the spiritually dead.

36) Those who there, refuse the Mark, are tracked down, and killed.
Beheaded by the guillotine, all their blood is spilled.
Martyrdom, salvation's price, for those saved in Christ.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; part of sin's huge price.

39) The Judgment Of The Sheep and Goats, Millennium Of Peace.
The curse of sin on planet Earth, is finally released.

Rebellion just like witchcraft; sin though, isn't missed.

40) Survivors of the Tribulation, will Earth, repopulate.
Christ rules with a rod of iron, there is no debate.
Life was in was meant to be, no more battles, wars.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; but it'll show once more.

41) At end of Millennium, rebels with sins desire.
All destroyed there by The Lord, with His Righteous Fire.
All these at the Great White Throne; salvation is too late.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; damnation is their fate.

42) All the unsaved gathered there, on that somber day.
The Grace Of God is over now, and it's too late to pray.
None of these will ever walk, there on Heaven's shore.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; torment forevermore.

43) To purify all of the Earth, from the stain of sin.
It's set afire; new Earth formed, no sin enters in.
Sin won't rise a second time, paradise restored.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; those who reject The Lord.

44) Hell or Heaven is your home, when you take last breath.
Too late to repent of sin, at moment of your death.
God won't force you to repent; He'll let you go your way.
Rebellion just like witchcraft; eternally, you'll pay.

45) Repent of sin, believe on Christ, the one thing God requires.
The only thing to save your soul, from the Lake Of Fire.
Accepting or Rejecting Christ; what will you, now say??
Rebellion just like witchcraft; sins cost, you'll never pay.
