Not Ashamed Of Sinful Deeds; Forgetting How To Blush

Not Ashamed Of Sinful Deeds; Forgetting How To Blush

Based On Jeremiah 6:15 and Jeremiah 8:12

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Debauchery and wickedness, behavior of mankind.
Concerning morality, it seems they've lost their mind.
Into the pursuit of sin, entered like a rush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

2) Everything is backwards there, to minds reprobate.
The allure of widespread sin, all these cannot wait.
Just like smitten with young love, there on a school crush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

3) Embarrassment, they do not know, the meaning of the word.
They despise correction there, and wise things they have heard.
Sins desire like vegetation, all so green and lush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

4) What was taboo years ago, now fully on display.
They demand the moral police, get out of the way.
Once knowing right from wrong; minds now turned to mush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

5) As in the days of Noah, and of Lot so long ago.
It seems no limit to the depth, that mankind will go.
Worse than dirty toilet bowl, that was never flushed.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

6) Mankind's heart so wicked there, blackened to its core.
Never satisified at sin, they're always wanting more.
Spurning any chance of cleansing, no matter what the brush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

7) Their hearts so darkened with their sin, that they feel no shame.
They would never, of themselves, admit they are to blame.
Just like threads of prostitutes, so comfy and plush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

8) Just like Noah and Lot were, the righteous souls are vexed.
They try to warn these wicked folks, of what's coming next.
When warned of judgment coming soon, they all scream ''Shush!!''.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

9) Their wickedness not unnoticed there, by The Lord of Hosts.
Purity and righteousness, these despise the most.
Judgment comes in like a flood; with violent rush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

10) They say ''good is evil'', and that ''evil, it is good''.
They know they're not living right, as they know, they should.
Like bacteria in mouth, there from dental thrush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

11) As God declared, ''all these will fall, and suffer defeat''.
His Judgment on their deeds, thorough and complete.
Now in judgment before God, they're all in quiet hush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

12) God says ''They will know soon enough, the evil they have done''.
There will be no place to hide, for these souls to run.
From the weight of their sin debt, all these will be crushed.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

13) God warned things would be like this, before Christ returned.
The wicked find out the huge cost, because good deeds, spurned.
Their mind the consistency, of a liquid slush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.

14) Don't be like these wicked souls; repent from life of sin.
Christ wants to be your Saviour, Lord, and in your heart, come in.
But, He'll let you go your way; if toward sin, you'll rush.
Not ashamed of sinful deeds; forgetting how to blush.
