2) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
Though both parent, and the child, therein, do there, grieve.
Foolishness there in child's heart, each and every day.
The rod of correction will, drive it all away.
3) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
Whether child girl or boy, named Sarah or Steve.
Spankings, or restrictions there, when kids have been bad.
Implementing of these things, makes the parent sad.
4) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
As the children grow older, one day, they will leave.
To go out into the world, adult life, in view.
The scope of the punishment, all of it, is new.
5) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
Most think they can get away, in that, they're deceived.
Now, it's monetary fines, plus the jail time.
Punishment that is imposed, there must fit the crime.
6) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
Effects of the punishment, they try to allieve.
Every sin that one will do, recorded for a trial.
When they stand before The Lord, of guilt, no denial.
7) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
Escape from the punishment, they try to retrieve.
Punishment that God metes out, it does not compare.
Of what was seen here on Earth, no matter when or where.
8) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
Far greater, will it, there be; on those who won't believe;
On Christ for salvation there, these will not repent.
The one thing that God requires, ''Believe on Christ, He sent''.
9) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
One's choice there, to spurn The Lord; forever, they will grieve.
Horrified, they hear the words, from His Judgment Throne;
''Depart from Me, into the fire; for you, I've never known''.
10) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
For those who repent of sin, and Christ as Lord, receive;
He disciplines His Children, there; but does not condemn.
Christ is not their worst nightmare, but forever, friend.
11) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
Though at times, with our sin nature, His Spirit, we grieve.
When we repent, and there confess; fellowship restored.
Christ not only is Our Savior, but He is Our Lord.
12) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
At the Bema Seat, rewards lost, received.
Some attired as a beggar, others royally.
But, all In Heaven, with The Lord, for eternity.
13) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
The burden of your sin debt, Christ wants to relieve.
But He will not force you there, to make Eternal choice;
To accept, or there reject, His Precious Loving Voice.
14) Discipline done by The Lord; more than we'd conceive.
Heaven only for those who, His Love Gift, receive.
Default at your death is Hell, if you reject The Lord.
For His Word is sharper than any two edged sword.
